Reports have been circulating of late that a new uprising is underway. The name of this new wave is thought to be known as Indie-Lectro, and we have found the ring leader.

An organisation known only as TROUBLE OVER TOKYO is behind all this. A one-man band, if you will, run by a boy named Toph. Described as a blend of styles of such artists as Björk, Thom Yorke, Turin Brakes and Michael Jackson, Trouble Over Tokyo is seen as a major threat in 2008 with his new album „Pyramides“ getting a worldwide release through Schönwetter/Klein Records in May!

Remember the French La Boum movies from the 80s? Then you remember Sophie Marceau as teenager Vic on that party in the strobe light dancing frantically to Murky Turkey when suddenly the strange dark-haired guy she´s been eyeing for some time comes over and puts headphones over her ears and she turns around and they slowly dance to the headphone music only the both of them can hear? Yes, my friends – we´re talking „Reality“ by Richard Sanderson. The favourite makeout song of Europeans which got famous as the „Schieber“ dance.

The one  who came up with the idea of covering the song in the first place was Viennese DJ and producer Christopher Just. He´s been haunted by „Reality“ for ages and one day he had the idea of that cover but he was in need of a singer - then Louie Austen came over and said „Hey man, consider me the voice! I love that song!“ – said and done & the result is this fine EP!

Remember Samantha Fox and Sabrina, those sleazy mistresses of 80s dance/pop and icons of every mullet man´s wet dream? Then meet their innocent daughter, Swedish disco princess Sally Shapiro in charge of their musical heritage who will soon release her debut album "Disco Romance" (a Diskokaine product!). Above all it´s inspired by Italian 80s disco and the Twin Peaks series.

Sally has been no no-name in disco communities ever since "I'll Be By Your Side", which was rated 4.5 out of 5 by the highly acclaimed US Pitchforkmedia and ended up #27 in the their top 100 of 2006 tracks list. Pitchforkmedia also reviewed two other tracks of the upcoming album with 4.5 out of 5 stars though they were never even released as singles.
